Meaning of EWA
EWA, which stands for Earth Wise Abundance, is the name of the Seed that grows from the Elowyn Tree in the game lore. Derived from the Celtic language, Elowyn refers to the Elm Tree, symbolizing the deep connection between nature and the evolving game world.
EWA Seed
The EWA Seed holds the codes of the New Time, which are linked to the Elowyn Keys. Much like the seeds of the Elm Tree, the EWA Seed is a Samara with wing-like features, symbolizing its ability to carry and spread the transformative power of a new era across the world.
EWAÂ Token
EWA functions as a single-token ecosystem, serving as the spendable currency within EARTHwise, an in-game utility token, and the governance token of the Elowyn DAO. Additionally, EWA can be staked and includes a deflationary mechanism to drive value back to holders.
EWA Token Utility
Earn EWA tokens by winning matches, joining community events, and climbing the leaderboard. Use your tokens to fuse cards, upgrade avatars, purchase digital collectibles, buy card packs, wager in battles, and unlock new gameplay experiences. You can also stake EWA tokens to earn passive rewards and participate in special events and governance decisions.
EWA tokens are the lifeblood of the EARTHwise ecosystem, funding player and partner projects that offer sustainability solutions and enhance our world. They also provide DAO governance rights, letting you influence the game’s evolution and resource distribution through the Elowyn game DAO. EWA launches late 2024, pending marketing conditions.
EWA Token Distribution
EARTHwise Innovations Ltd will initially create 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) EWA tokens at the token generation event as its distributable supply. The token contract will be created as a fixed supply contract with a maximum cap of 10,000,000,000 (10 billion) EWA.Â
The decision to increase the circulating supply shall be determined jointly by the Elowyn DAO and EARTHwise. Factors that may warrant an increase in the supply include replenishing rewards such as Community Incentives, Staking, or expansion of the game environment and userbase. EARTHwise and the Elowyn DAO may also decide together that no further tokens shall be minted, in which case the remaining tokens will be permanently destroyed.
